These are some of the animals who were adopted at the Grant County Humane Society and are loving their lives with their new families!
I adopted Penelope in October! I affectionately call her "the bug lady", because she will find and take care of any insects in the house! She loves to watch the birds, wrestle with her kitty sister Lola, and antagonize her doggy sister Rosie. She's got the loudest purr I've ever heard, and she likes to walk on Momma in the middle of the night and lick her face. She even carries her toys around the house like a dog!
Our sweet girl, previously known as "Lola" from back when we got her shortly before Christmas...she is so happy here. Her favorite things are sticks, birds, digging holes masterfully in seconds, or going "potty" AKA, all of the above! ;p We are so thankful to have her, she is a wonderful addition to the family <3
We would like to say a big thank you to you and foster cat mom Alexandria Lenae Schoenfeld for our new kitten. We have been lonely since we lost our 12 year old cat Stewie last month. Little Miss, who we are now calling Cleo, is adjusting well, and is very well loved by myself, my husband and our two girls. Cleo is full of energy and loves to explore. She also is happy to pick a lap to nap on. We love her so much and we all agree that life is better with a kitty in our house! Thanks again!
